We listen to people all the time. But do we really give our full attention to others when they speak? How much do we miss and what is the cost of that? Often we are preparing our response or finding ways to defend ourselves or our views. Mindful listening is a skill we can cultivate, and it can significantly improve our relationships. Listening deeply to someone is a gift and feeling heard is healing.
This two-hour workshop will explore what deep listening is, what interferes with it, how to cultivate it, and how it benefits our lives. We will explore inner listening and how it is essential for effective listening to others. Saturday, April 24, 2021 11am - 1pm EDT. Fee $35. Sliding scale available.
