Workshop - Working with Anxiety

Feeling anxious and fearful is something all humans experience, to one degree or another. It can be, by its very nature, very uncomfortable and unwanted. Sometimes it is debilitating. This workshop will address the underlying causes of fear and anxiety, and suggest some methods for greeting these challenging feelings when they arise, and holding them with more ease. This is not a psychotherapeutic session, nor does it address deep-seated PTSD. But it will offer ways of reframing and working with the anxiety that holds us back in life and erodes our sense of goodness and well-being. Especially during these uncertain and precarious times in which we find ourselves, addressing the fears and anxieties we carry every day is more important than ever. This two-hour workshop will include presentation, interaction, writing, and a short break at the mid-way point, in a safe and supportive environment. Fee: $30 per person, and is on zoom.
